Cornerback Terence Newman was added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster Wednesday.

Newman was named as a replacement for the Arizona Cardinals’ Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. This is Newman’s second Pro Bowl selection.

Newman started all 16 regular season games and the two postseason games for the Cowboys in 2009 after battling injuries throughout the 2008 season. He finished the year with 68 tackles and second on the team with three interceptions with one returned for a touchdown. He added a career-best 21 pass breakups and forced three fumbles, both good for second on the team.

Newman joins six teammates previously named to the Pro Bowl.
