'Boys release Roy Williams

The Dallas Cowboys made another big move Thursday, releasing veteran safety Roy Williams.

Just hours after parting ways with controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens, the Dallas Cowboys have also parted ways with safety Roy Williams.

Owner Jerry Jones terminated the contract of Williams today, which will save the team approximately $2 million in cap room.

Williams, the Cowboys' top draft pick in 2002 who made the Pro Bowl every season from 2003 to 2007, was limited to three games in 2008 with a forearm injury.
