Cowboys Workout Sleeper Fullback
Recently, former Oklahoma State fullback Shawn Willis had a private workout with the Dallas Cowboys, TheRanchReport.com has learned. Willis is a bruising back with good size and ability at the next level. He also has strong hands and the ability to convert as a ball carrier in short-yardage or goal line situations. Even though saw his number of carries decrease during his senior season as Oklahoma State moved more towards a one-back offense, Willis has shown flashes of potential both as a blocking back and as a pass catcher. In four seasons at OSU, the 6-foot-1, 267-pound Willis played in 35 games, starting 15, and rushed for 413 yards and nine touchdowns on 87 carries. He also had 13 catches for 103 yards. Willis is the first fullback confirmed by TheRanchReport.com who has had a private workout with the Cowboys. He is currently projected to be a late-round draft pick.
