The Dallas Cowboys reached an injury settlement and released linebacker Stephen Hodge today.

Hodge had microfracture surgery on both knees while with the club.

Originally drafted in the sixth-round of the 2009 NFL Draft (197th overall) out of Texas Christian, he appeared in one preseason game, against Tennessee, but did not record any stats.

He was placed on Reserve/Injured on September 5 and spent his rookie season rehabbing.

Hodge was placed on PUP in training camp of 2010 as he continued to rehab and injured the other knee before being cleared to practice.
